East China Logistics Equipment Manufacturer — Caster Production Doubled
A Zhejiang-based industrial caster manufacturer was previously using conventional rubber vulcanization processes, which limited capacity and resulted in inconsistent wear resistance. After switching to our high-temperature elastomer casting machine, the PU elastomer coating achieved 3x better wear resistance than the original rubber parts, injection speed increased by 60%, and daily production capacity doubled.
Product defect rate dropped from 15% to under 2%. Equipment has been running stably for over two years without major issues.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: What machine for cabinet door seals and filter end caps? Elastomer machine or sealing strip machine?
A: These two products use low/medium pressure precision casting processes with sealing strip casting machines. They don't need the high-temperature curing system and high-hardness vacuum degassing system of elastomer machines. Using the wrong equipment costs extra money.
Q2: Why do industrial caster coatings require elastomer machines? Can't regular high-pressure machines work?
A: Caster coatings require wear resistance, impact resistance, noise reduction, and large-batch continuous production. Elastomer machines' high-temperature curing systems (90-180°C) allow PU elastomers to fully cross-link, achieving 60-95 Shore A hardness with 3-5 times better wear resistance than regular PU foam. Regular high-pressure machines cannot achieve this performance.
Q3: How to solve bubble issues?
A: Bubbles are the enemy of both precision sealing parts and elastomer parts. Sources include moisture in raw materials and air entrained during mixing. Our elastomer machines come with standard vacuum degassing systems that remove bubbles from materials in vacuum chambers before injection. Sealing strip machines reduce bubbles through three-layer jacketed tank heating and precise injection control. Moisture-proof raw material storage is essential.
Q4: How to choose between medium-temperature and high-temperature elastomer machines?
A: This depends mainly on your material system and working temperature requirements. Regular polyurethane elastomers (CPU) work fine with medium-temperature machines (90-120°C). If your casters/rollers are used in heavy-duty, high-temperature environments like mining or ports, or use special wear-resistant systems, you need high-temperature machines (120-180°C). Tell us your material grade and end-use temperature — we'll help you decide.
Q5: Can we test materials before deciding to buy?
A: Yes. We offer material testing services. Send us your materials or tell us your material specifications, and we'll test them with the appropriate machine type to show you product quality and capacity data. We discuss purchasing only after satisfactory test results.
