Why furniture manufacturers choose Foamor

Multi-SKU Flexibility

Sofa manufacturers have multiple product models, colors, and density requirements. Our equipment supports quick material and color changes, minimizing SKU changeover time without affecting normal production.

Consistent Foam Quality

High resilience sofa cushions, comfort of seat cushions, slow rebound properties of memory pillows — all depend on formulation and metering accuracy. Our equipment delivers ±0.5% metering precision for stable, consistent foam quality.

Scalable Production

Start with a single high-pressure machine and molds, scale up to ground rail circular lines producing thousands of pieces daily. Equipment configuration grows with your order volume — no need for excessive initial investment while avoiding future capacity constraints.

Customer Case

East China Furniture Manufacturer — 1,500 Sofa Cushions Daily Production

"A large furniture factory in Zhejiang supplies multiple e-commerce brands and export customers, producing over 1,500 sofa cushions daily. Previously using manual pouring + hand demolding, product consistency was poor with high rework rates. We configured a ground rail circular line + 1 high-pressure foaming machine + automatic mold opening and closing system for them. Fully automated operation with just two operators, stable daily output of 1,800+ pieces, product qualification rate improved from 88% to 97%, and labor costs reduced by 60%."

Technical FAQ

What density foam is typically used for sofa cushions?

Home sofa cushions commonly use density 35-50kg/m³, while export or premium brands may require 50-70kg/m³. Density affects comfort and service life. Our technical team will help you determine formula parameters based on your product positioning.

We frequently change colors and materials - will this be troublesome?

Color changes mainly involve cleaning pipelines and mixing heads. High-pressure machines with self-cleaning mixing heads use cleaning agents for rinsing - one cycle usually suffices, otherwise two cycles, keeping total time within 30 minutes. Material changes (like high resilience to slow rebound) require thorough pipeline cleaning, taking longer but following standard procedures.

What special requirements do mattresses have for equipment?

Mattresses are large-size products requiring high-flow high-pressure machines and large-size molds. Mold heating must be uniform (using mold temperature controllers), with strict temperature control during foaming to prevent uneven mattress firmness. Our equipment works with mold suppliers' molds to ensure uniform temperature fields.

How much floor space does the equipment require?

The smallest single-machine solution (1 high-pressure machine + mold rack) needs about 20-30 square meters of workshop space. Medium-scale circular line solutions need 50-100 square meters. Full-line solutions (ground rail lines) need 100-200 square meters. We provide specific layout drawings based on your workshop conditions.

Does equipment noise affect workers?

Machine operating noise is approximately 70-75dB, requiring basic protection (earplugs). Our equipment can be fitted with sound enclosures, reducing noise to below 65dB, meeting standard industrial workshop requirements.
