Cyclopentane High-Pressure Foaming Machine
Engineered PU foam equipment and production solutions designed around your process, output goals, and quality requirements.
Built for dependable PU foam production
The cyclopentane high-pressure foaming machine is a standard high-pressure machine equipped with explosion-proof components. Cyclopentane replaces CFCs and HCFCs as the blowing agent — it has zero ODP and near-zero GWP, making it the dominant choice for manufacturers selling into Europe, North America, and other regulated markets.
Who it’s for
If you produce refrigerators, freezers, cold storage panels, building insulation boards, or pipe insulation, and you need to comply with EU F-gas regulations, US EPA SNAP rules, or similar environmental mandates — this is the machine you need.
How it works
Two precision axial piston pumps deliver polyol and isocyanate at high pressure through a self-cleaning L-type mixing head, where the two components collide at speed and mix uniformly before injection. The difference from a standard unit is the safety configuration. Cyclopentane is flammable, so the machine includes:
Explosion-proof Siemens motors throughout
Combustible gas detectors near floor level (cyclopentane vapor is heavier than air)
Pre-mix tank where cyclopentane is blended with polyol via static mixer before entering the metering system
Full grounding system with independent grounding devices to prevent static discharge
Why it matters commercially
Europe is phasing down HFCs under the F-gas regulation. If you export appliances or building materials to regulated markets and your competitors are already on cyclopentane, you need this machine to stay competitive. Regulations aside — buyers in Europe actively look for “CFC-free” and “eco-friendly foam” on product specs.
What it produces
Refrigerator and freezer inner cabinets (foam-filled cavity)
Cold storage panel cores (sandwich panels)
Building insulation boards
Pipe and tank insulation jackets
Industrial cold chain containers
Foam specs: closed-cell content above 95%, thermal conductivity 0.018–0.022 W/(m·K), density 30–45 kg/m³ (adjustable by formulation).
What you get
Self-cleaning L-type mixing head — no solvent flushing between shots
High/low pressure auto-switch valve — reduces wear and energy waste during idle
PLC computer controller, 999 program storage
Flow rate: 70–8000 g/s (model dependent)
Metering accuracy: ±0.5%
Explosion-proof motors + gas detection + grounding — all standard
What to confirm before buying
Your facility needs adequate ventilation and explosion-proof electrical installation. These are site requirements, not machine options ; your local installation standards are a separate consideration.
